TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE ESPACE ROUSSEAU

While waiting for the decision of the authorities to grant a support to the Espace Rousseau that would guarantee its continuation, the museum must unfortunately close down momentarily as of January 1, 2006.

The Espace Rousseau faces the prospect of having to close down definitely, as the result of the unwillingness of the City and State of Geneva to support it financially and to promote the legacy of Rousseau more generally.
